In recent years Dave Lucas has seen a few accidents that has reinforced his opinion on how important first aid training can be, especially in the expedition environment. As a result the Vertical World will be coordinating first aid courses with the LifeSigns group, designed for climbers and remote expeditions. They will vary from the simple 2 day Expedition Care Program to the more intense Expedition Medic course. No prior first aid knowledge will be required.
